Beginning in October, 2006, the College Library Instructional Computing Commons (CLICC) launched the Software Shortcut — a way for students to access some software applications from anywhere.

What you need:
UCLA Logon (formerly Bruin OnLine ID)
VPN client
Access to the internet (modem access is a bit slow, but works)

You can use a PC or a mac to access the service. No client (other than the VPN client) is required.

Browser compatibility:
Windows: IE, Firefox, Mozilla
Mac: Safari, Firefox
