Importing the Addressbook into BOL Webmail

  1. Login to BOL Webmail and access the Address Book in the left hand navigation menu.
  2. Select Import/Export from the top menu bar.
  3. Select the format of the source file: should be set to Comma separated values. Replacing all entries will be up to the user.
  4. Browse… to the saved location of the CSV file and select it and click Next.
  5. Uncheck the box for Does the first row contain the field names? If yes, check this box. Other options can be left as default. Click Next. MyUCLA Addressbooks only contain three fields of information. So here we will create three pairs of matching fields.
  6. You will see the information displayed for the first entry imported from the MyUCLA addressbook. You will notice there are a number of blank fields as well as separate first and last name fields that were imported, they can be disregarded. Match the following three pairs and add them by clicking the Add pair button:
  7. full name and Name
  8. email address and Email
  9. nickname and Alias

You can now access the Address Book to view all the newly imported entries.
