Users that had their UCLA Logon ID manually created due to their special affiliate status (postdoc, visiting scholar, etc.) that then become regular staff/faculty with a UID, will need to contact the BOL Help Desk at 310-267-4357, option 2 to get their special temporary account tied to their UID in order to use campus services that require a UID. An individual can use the password reset tool at https://logon.ucla.edu/passreset.php to test if their account is a regular account tied to their UID. If the error “Did not find any matching entries.” is received and the individual is certain they’ve entered the requested information correctly, there is a chance their UID has not been tied to their UCLA Logon ID.
