In late July 2008, the CCLE/Moodle system is being upgraded from ver. 1.8 to 1.9, which has necessitated all previously built 1.8 courses to be moved to the archive server (archive.ccle.ucla.edu) so that the production server can be upgraded to 1.9. If you are trying to access one of these 1.8 courses during this time using Internet Explorer (IE), you may encounter an error message preventing you from getting to the course site. To circumvent this problem, use IE’s pull-down menus to go to Tools—>Internet Options—>Security and add the aforementioned server to your list of trusted sites. Once completed, restart your browser. You should now be able to go to the main CCLE portal (http://ccle.ucla.edu), find your course, and be redirected to it on the archive server without further difficulty.
