If you are having problems uninstalling Webroot Spy Sweeper via ‘Add/Remove Programs’ please try using the following tool provided by Webroot:

1. First download the SSE Cleanup tool from: https://www.bol.ucla.edu/pub/bol/win/spysweeper/SSECleanup.exe
2. Double-click the sseCleanup.exe file on your desktop and click Run.
3. Click the Install button when the WinRAR self-extracting archive appears.
4. You should now see a ssebat folder on your desktop. Open this folder by double left clicking on it.
5. Double left-click on the DoubleClickHere.bat icon. You will briefly see a black prompt window; once this window closes please restart your computer.
6. Upon restart, please re-download Spy Sweeper. Follow the prompts and reinstall Spy Sweeper 5.0. If the computer does not automatically restart upon the completion of the installation, please restart your computer manually.
