How to configure email on a Sprint Blackberry Tour 9630
To configure POP/IMAP email on a Sprint Blackberry Tour 9630, you will need to log into the Sprint Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) portal at
using the user’s BIS login and password. If the user doesn’t know this information, they will have to call the Sprint help line to get the username. This username can be used to obtain the password, which is sent directly to the Blackberry device.
Once logged into BIS, additional email accounts can be added, and they should show up on the Blackberry.
Note: even if RIM “seems” to have the user’s email information in their system when you call their support line, you can not get email on the Blackberry until the email accounts have been entered in Sprint’s BIS website.
