Multimedia Annotator

A tool developed at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, that lets subject matter experts easily add annotation to audio or video tracks. The user can divide the timeline of the media file into various sections and then create specialized content for those sections, including (but not limited to) subtitles, translations, glossaries or historical asides related to the content of the media file. This material can be viewed and used by the student in conjunction with the listening to/watching of the media file. It is similar to the Project Pad tool.
