Obtain 3D views of UCLA

A useful service I stumbled upon using Google maps is the 3D street level view, where loads of photos have been stitched together for many US cities, and includes LA. If you go to maps.google.com and look at a particular address, click on the Street View and you get a Flash-driven pop-up. To grab the URL (or code for an IFRAME) click on ‘Link to this page’ on far right, above the map.

For an example of a simple implementation (and you need Flash installed) see www.npi.ucla.edu/maps .

Most of the drivable roads around UCLA have been mapped this way, so may be useful to help people find your department’s buildings
