What happened to GartnerSeek?
The original question was: What happened to this GartnerSeek link?
http://www.library.ucla.edu/gartseek.html
It looks like the search engine was changed to Ultraseek but the old link wasn’t fixed. The new link is http://www.library.ucla.edu/sitesearch/gartseek.html
If you go to this article http://kb.ucla.edu/articles/is-gartner-research-available-at-ucla there are direct links to Browse and Search sites for Gartner Research
You can also get to the two Gartner sites through the UCLA Library website:
- Go to the Library home page: www.library.ucla.edu/
- Pull down the Search and Find menu and select E-resources
- Type Gartner in the search box and press enter
- Results: 2 links: Gartner IntraWeb and Gartner intraweb (search)
Both of these sites are licensed for use by UCLA students, staff and faculty only. If you are off campus, you will need to set up your web browser for the Bruin OnLine (BOL) Proxy Server or download VPN software from the BOL web site in order to be authenticated and then allowed access to these sites.
