What is ISIS and where can I learn more about it as a campus software developer?
ISIS was UCLA’s web single sign-on system that performed user authentication for many campus web applications – my.ucla, URSA Online, Engineering’s CourseWeb, and Social Sciences’ ClassWeb.
Update: ISIS has been deprecated and replaced by a a standards-based open-source solution called Shibboleth. Campus web applications (who used ISIS before) have migrated to Shibboleth in early 2010. For details, visit the ISIS to Shibboleth Migration Help Center.
